Overview
Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive individual to provide essential support to their Accounting team. This role involves a mix of administrative, clerical, and accounting-related tasks that help ensure the department runs efficiently. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with accounting functions such as accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, tax reporting, and audit preparation.
- Handle administrative duties including answering calls, sorting and distributing mail, preparing correspondence, data entry, and maintaining organized filing systems.
- Support inventory and order fulfillment processes: prepare products, process and ship orders, manage invoices, track inventory, and handle returns.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to collect data, update records, generate reports, and respond to inquiries promptly.
- Provide cross-departmental support for administrative and communication needs as required.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in business, finance, or related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in accounting or a related role, with strong computer skills.
- Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable interacting with diverse groups.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities; capable of handling confidential information responsibly.
