Field Sales Representative

Position Overview :
Remote position based in Dallas, TX covering territory throughout Texas with occasional travel to other South Central and Southwest markets. Excellent opportunity for recent college grads or anyone interested in expanding their sales background into outside sales and territory management.
SUMMARY :
Represent Metabo HPT in the field with home improvement stores by selling, demonstrating, and building relationships with End Users, Pro Sales Managers, Store Management and associates.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Sales Support : Work closely with the Home Center's Pro Sales teams to identify and close conversion opportunities and drive category growth. Assist with product placement and ensure Metabo HPT tools are properly stocked and displayed.
- Product Demonstrations : Provide engaging, hands-on demonstrations of Metabo HPT tools to both in-store customers and professionals on job sites, showcasing their performance, features, and benefits. Provide recommendations tailored to customer needs, offering the right tools and accessories for the job, from home improvement / remodels to commercial construction projects.
- Field Support : Conduct ride-alongs with the outside Pro Sales Managers on job site visits, providing technical advice, demos and answering questions regarding the use of Metabo HPT products in real-world work environments.
- Relationship Building : Develop and maintain relationships with professional contractors and trade professionals, acting as a point of contact for product knowledge and troubleshooting. Provide district and regional store management updates on promotions and store performance.
- Product Knowledge & Training : Stay up-to-date on new Metabo HPT products and industry trends. Be a resource for store associates, providing hands-on training and support on the product line.
- Promotions and Events : Participate in the stores' promotional events to generate product awareness and increase sales of Metabo HPT tools.
- Customer Service : Provide exceptional service to customers, addressing concerns or issues and ensuring satisfaction with Metabo HPT tools. Assist the store's Pro Sales Teams with orders and replenishment.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS :
Bachelor's Degree or Trade School Certification, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience in Field Sales or Marketing related role for Power Tools, Hardware, or other Construction Supplies preferredAnalytical ability to recognize trends and create strategies to improve success of productsSkilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Ability to work independently as a self-starter as well as with a team for problem-solving and completing Sales ProjectsBilingual in English and Spanish preferred, but not requiredPHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT :
