Reporting Relationship
Reports to : Bobby Ritterbeck, President and Co-Founder of Best Egg. Bobby serves as the President of Best Egg, leading the company’s Lines of Business, Product, and Insights organizations. He oversees expansion of the product suite across unsecured loans, secured lending, credit cards, and emerging product verticals.
The Opportunity
Best Egg successfully launched its Home Secured Lending product, expanding its secured credit portfolio to help customers access affordable borrowing solutions backed by home equity. The company is now focused on scaling and optimizing this business line to drive sustained growth and profitability. The General Manager (GM), Home Secured Lending will serve as the strategic and operational leader responsible for expanding the product’s reach, enhancing performance, deepening customer engagement, and evolving the offering to meet diverse consumer needs.
This leader will oversee all aspects of the business—including product strategy, design, launch, growth, and P&L management. The GM will leverage deep expertise in consumer credit, home lending, and digital innovation to create a market-leading experience that differentiates Best Egg in the home-secured lending landscape. This is a rare opportunity to shape the direction of a high-potential product backed by the resources and culture of a fast-growing FinTech.
Location : Preference for Wilmington, DE. Open to remote candidates with regular travel to Wilmington.

Skill Set
Compensation : $250,000 - $290,000 a year. In addition to semi-monthly salary payments, this position is eligible for an annual incentive bonus based on individual and company performance (target 40% of base salary). This position may also be eligible for long-term cash incentives.
