CNC Machinist

Job Type : Full-Time

Hours : Monday-Friday, 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 30 PM (1st Shift)

Locations : Bolivar, OH & Middletown, OH

Position Overview

As a Machinist, you'll be at the heart of our operations, responsible for machining ferrous and non-ferrous materials within tolerance specifications. You'll utilize your expertise to interpret instructions and blueprints, as well as operate a range of equipment, including :

Manual and CNC lathes and mills

Horizontal and vertical boring mills

Horizontal saws

Overhead cranes

Forklifts

And more

Job Qualifications

Education :

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience :

3-5 years of machine shop experience, ideally in a hydraulics industry setting

Experience in other industries will also be considered

Skills :

Proficiency with precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, thread gauges, and indicators

CNC and manual tooling experience will be required

Attributes :

Strong attention to detail

Good judgment

Ability to read and interpret blueprints

Physical Requirements

Lifting / Carrying : 40 lbs. lift / carry and 50 lb. pull

Repetitive Motions : Frequent movement requiring hands, wrists, and fingers

Dexterity : Normal

Frequent standing / sitting and movement up and down stairs

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible
