Amerit Fleet Solutions, one of the leading fleet maintenance companies in the US , is looking to hire a skilled Diesel Technician / Mechanic in Philadelphia, PA! The Automotive Technician / Mechanic is responsible for the timely repair and maintenance of light to medium duty fleet vehicles to ensure a safe and efficient operation.
Compensation : Competitive Hourly Pay - Paid weekly, every Friday! $30-43Hr
2nd Shift : Monday - Friday : 2 : 00pm - 10 : 30pm

What the Automotive Technician role looks like :
Prepare vehicle records and report both manually and on a computerPerform repairs and preventative maintenance to light and medium duty vehiclesPerform safety inspections of equipment and prepare safety documentation requiredComply with all applicable laws / regulations, as well as company policies / proceduresInspect and perform work on the under parts of vehiclesAccess any area of the equipment or vehicle to perform necessary maintenanceMove parts to and from the job site and remove or install these parts on vehiclesInteract with clients through both email and phone as necessaryPerform other duties as requiredWhat our ideal candidate looks like :
At least 5 years’ experience performing vehicle maintenance or must possess auto or diesel technology diploma from an accredited technical schoolMust have valid Driver’s LicenseMust have State Inspection and emissions licensesProficient computer skills : knowledge of Excel, Word, Fleet Management Systems, and EmailStrong written and verbal communication skills (documentation, communication with peers, supervisors, etc.)Must be able to operate a manual transmission vehicle to determine if operating properlyMust provide own hand tools & toolbox.Working Conditions :
