Essential Responsibilities

  • Accurate dimensions inspection of product using a wide variety of measuring devices
  • Handle vendor incoming inspection
  • Manages the NDT reports server
  • Assure all First and Last Article inspection is conducted as required
  • Manages and analyzes all customer returns
  • Identifies non-conformances and generate QC reports
  • Lead further activities when a non-conformance product / material is identified
  • Educate / train other employees on specification requirements
  • Complies with company safety regulations and standard procedures at all times

Qualifications

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • Quality Control : Minimum 5 years of experience
  • Experience in the PVF (pipe, valves and fittings) industry
  • Speak and read English. Bilingual Spanish preferred
  • Working knowledge of blueprint reading, shop math and non-destructive testing
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to understand and execute instructions well
  • Positive attitude; works well under stress
  • Hands-on, action oriented, and demonstrate a bias for continual improvement
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and accomplish multiple tasks with careful attention to detail
  • Capable of lifting 50 lbs with back support
  • Ability to drive forklift and secure certification
