Essential Responsibilities
- Accurate dimensions inspection of product using a wide variety of measuring devices
- Handle vendor incoming inspection
- Manages the NDT reports server
- Assure all First and Last Article inspection is conducted as required
- Manages and analyzes all customer returns
- Identifies non-conformances and generate QC reports
- Lead further activities when a non-conformance product / material is identified
- Educate / train other employees on specification requirements
- Complies with company safety regulations and standard procedures at all times
Qualifications
Minimum high school diploma or equivalentQuality Control : Minimum 5 years of experienceExperience in the PVF (pipe, valves and fittings) industrySpeak and read English. Bilingual Spanish preferredWorking knowledge of blueprint reading, shop math and non-destructive testingProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and OutlookAbility to understand and execute instructions wellPositive attitude; works well under stressHands-on, action oriented, and demonstrate a bias for continual improvementAbility to organize, prioritize, and accomplish multiple tasks with careful attention to detailCapable of lifting 50 lbs with back supportAbility to drive forklift and secure certificationPositive attitude; works well under stressHands-on, action oriented, and demonstrate a bias for continual improvementAbility to organize, prioritize, and accomplish multiple tasks with careful attention to detailCompany Description
