How you'll contribute A House Supervisor who excels in this role : Provides after-hours hospital leadership and serves as the primary resource and support for clinical staff. Oversees patient flow, bed placement, and staffing needs to maintain safe and effective operations. Assists in direct patient care as needed and ensures high-quality standards are met throughout the facility. Supports departmental goals and ensures compliance with clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements. Manages escalations, safety concerns, and service-level issues to promote a positive patient and staff experience. Serves as the point of contact for administrators, physicians, and other departments when leadership is not onsite. Accesses and reviews relevant patient information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines. Provides guidance, mentorship, and assistance with staff orientation and training. Professional Development : Leadership development, continuing education, and advancement opportunities. What we're looking for Current RN license to practice in NC (NC or multistate compact license). Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred. Previous leadership, charge, or supervisory experience strongly preferred. Recent acute care experience within the last 3 years preferred. Additional requirements include : Strong critical thinking and leadership skills. The ability to make sound judgments independently. Ability to work in a high-stress environment and respond appropriately. BLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred. Handle With Care within 4 months of hire.
