Desired Skills :
- In-depth knowledge and advanced proficiency in CWDM / DWDM Optical Transport systems including Ciena, Alcatel. Familiarity with Dark Fiber vendors, their organizational processes, standards, and network portfolio maps is preferred. Knowledge of Pathloss 5 microwave design software.
- Proficient in office applications : Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project.
- Executive-level troubleshooting, problem solving, project management, and interpersonal skills.
- Decision-making skills, including using available data, anticipating future needs, and understanding organizational impact.
- Superior organizational and planning skills, including setting priorities, workload management, delegation, and follow-up.
- Ability to quickly learn new technology and apply wireless engineering knowledge.
- Self-motivated, proactive, able to work independently.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- High productivity and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with engineering and economic principles is preferred.
Must Have Skills :
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience with six or more years in relevant roles.Experience analyzing and reporting on traffic for transport backhaul.Self-motivated, able to work independently.Experience in the cellular or telecommunications industry.Knowledge of interconnect circuits such as SONET / Dark Fiber.Understanding of wireless 4G and 5G services related to architecture.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Education :
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience.5-7 years of experience in cellular / telecommunications, preferably in a transport engineering role.Ampcus is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
