- What You’ll Do :
- Start with the basics : oil changes, tire rotations, brake pads, fluid services, inspections, and more.
- Work your way up as you learn diagnostics, electrical work, suspension, engine performance, and more.

- What We’re Looking For :

- Basic mechanical skills or experience in an automotive trade school is a big plus.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- NYS Inspection License is a plus (not required—yet!).

- Responsibilities :
- Perform diagnostic services, electrical repairs, engine performance evaluations, and engine, drivetrain, suspension, and brake repairs according to dealership and factory standards.
- Complete routine maintenance tasks such as oil and filter changes, tire rotations, mounting and balancing, brake pad replacements, and resetting all vehicle warning lights, including tire pressure indicators and oil change reminders.
- Save and tag parts as required for warranty repairs or customer requests.
- Examine vehicles to identify potential safety concerns or additional service needs and communicate findings to the service advisor.
- Document all work performed and recommendations on the repair order with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Perform road tests when necessary or refer vehicles to the test technician.
- Report any machinery defects, malfunctions, or safety concerns to the supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment and ensure customer vehicles are kept clean.
- Operate all tools and equipment safely and responsibly, ensuring dealership-owned tools are returned in proper condition.
- Assist customers with questions about their vehicles when needed.

- Proficiency in electrical systems, engine performance, drivetrain, suspension, and brake repair.

- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
- Attention to detail and commitment to providing high-quality work.
