At Wright Water Engineers (WWE), we’re passionate about improving rivers, watersheds, and communities through innovative water resource solutions. As a Water Resources Engineer, you’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team on meaningful projects such as :

  • Watershed master planning
  • Floodplain modeling and regulatory support
  • Mud / debris flow analysis
  • Stream and river restoration
  • Fish passage and barrier design
  • Ditch and diversion structure design
  • Water quality evaluation and stormwater design

This is an opportunity to apply your skills in design, hydrology, and hydraulics while gaining experience on diverse projects that make a real impact.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil / environmental engineering or a related environmental science field
  • 0–5 years of relevant professional experience (ideal for early-career professionals)
  • Proficiency in hydrologic / hydraulic modeling software (e.g., HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, EPA SWMM) and AutoCAD / Civil3D
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • For engineers : PE license, Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification, or plans to obtain licensure in the near future
  • Experience with geomorphology and / or floodplain regulations is preferred

  • Full-time position with a salary range of $70,000–$90,000 (commensurate with experience, education, and skills)
