Rec Therapist

Kiva Adventure Ranch is looking for a Rec to provide services for adolescent ASD males, ages 12-17, in a residential treatment setting. At Kiva we believe that the relationship is the most important aspect underlying any clinical care. Therefore, this position requires a relationship focused clinician that can relate with clinically complicated adolescent males and their families; and implement and coordinate each client's treatment objectives with other therapists and support staff within multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities :

We would like a therapist who is comfortable with moving around and doing therapy sessions outside or in other areas that are not in the office. We like the idea of using nature and surroundings in therapeutic ways and incorporating our beautiful scenery, but we are not a wilderness program.

We are looking for a masters level therapist with an adventure and recreational based background.
