Estimated pay package based on bill rate at time job was posted. Bill rates can

change frequently and without notice. Exact pay package may vary based on guaranteed hours,

distance being traveled, and customizations available for travelers.

1. General job duties. Types of procedures required.

Assessments completed every 4 hours, completes med passes as scheduled, completes physician orders in a timely and efficient manner, provides safe, quality care . Moderate to higher levels of acuity with mix of medical and post-Surgical patients. COVID and non-COVID patients

2. Equipment utilized in the unit / dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.)

EPIC is utilized for the EMR and Pyxis for medications

3. Required skills and minimum years of experience.

Minimum of 1 year of Tele / PCU / Stepdown experience

4. Specific licensures and certifications / registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc)

BLS, ACLS, IN or compact license

5. Shift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone? Is call required? If so, how often? Are weekends required?)

3 weekend shifts required in 4 week scheduling period / No Call required / Will not work alone.

6. Floating to other units / departments. (If so, to which units / departments?)

Travel RN would be 1st to float when there is a need to do so. Floating would most often occur within the Acute neighborhood (other Med Surg Tele units) and occasionally to our Post-acute Neighborhood (Inpatient rehab, Continuing Care Center, Supportive Care)

8. Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. (nursing only)

3 : 1

9. Dress Code :

Caribbean Blue Scrubs with White or Black undershirt only. Parkview approved jackets in White or Black only

10.Tell us about the unit / department specific training and orientation program.

Will attend General Hospital Orientation and Jumpstart. Unit specific orientation of 1-2 shifts.
