Duties :
- Provide personal care and assistance to hospice patients in their homes or healthcare facilities
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Assist with medication reminders and administration
- Document patient care activities and observations in medical records
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalentCompletion of a certified nursing assistant (CNA) program or equivalent trainingPrevious experience in a healthcare setting preferredKnowledge of medical terminology and documentation systemsAbility to follow instructions and work independentlyStrong communication and interpersonal skillsCompassionate and empathetic towards patients and their familiesNote : This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
