Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with ARRT, NYS CT licensure, and at least 2 years of CT experience for a hospital-based role using Epic EMR.

Responsibilities

  • Hospital setting with Toshiba 64-slice and 16-slice CT scanners
  • Serves pediatric through geriatric patient populations
  • Uses Epic for charting; prior Epic experience is required
  • Scheduled for 8 : 00 AM–8 : 30 PM shifts with every 3rd weekend required (7 : 00 AM–7 : 30 PM)
  • No on-call required
  • De-escalation training (Welle, CPI, or PMCS) needed before working on the unit
  • Local caregivers (within 50 miles) considered
  • Must work every 3rd weekend as scheduled
  • No call responsibilities are required
  • Facility may cancel up to 5 shifts per contract
  • Dress code details to be provided during onboarding

    • Requirements

  • Current ARRT certification with CT credentials
  • Valid NYS X-Ray and CT license
  • Current BLS certification
  • Minimum of 2 years recent CT experience
  • Experience with contrast injection
  • Proficiency with Epic EMR required
  • Completion of de-escalation training prior to start
  • Flu vaccination required; religious or medical documentation accepted if applicable
  • Candidates who have been staff at this facility in the past year or staff within AMC network in previous six months will not be considered
  • License required if applicable
