CUSTODIAN
LOCATION: Ann Arbor, MI
JOB TYPE: Full-Time | On-Site
PAY: $18.00 per hour
SCHEDULE: Saturday - Sunday - 7:00 AM-3:30 PM (shift available for 6-12 weeks)
COMPANY OVERVIEW
We are seeking a reliable Custodian to join a professional facility team in Ann Arbor. This short-term role is a great opportunity for dependable individuals who take pride in keeping facilities clean, safe, and well-maintained. The assignment is scheduled for 4 weeks with the possibility of extension.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Custodian will be responsible for ensuring that all assigned areas of the facility remain clean, orderly, and presentable. This role requires attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform general cleaning and sanitizing of restrooms, offices, and common areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust assigned spaces
• Empty trash and recycling bins
• Restock supplies as needed
• Maintain cleanliness of entryways and hallways
• Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards
• Report any maintenance or repair needs promptly

CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE & SUPPORT

• Ability to work independently and follow instructions
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment
• Reliable and punctual with strong attention to detail
• Provide support for additional cleaning tasks as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous custodial, janitorial, or maintenance experience preferred
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Ability to lift up to 25-50 lbs. and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
• Commitment to workplace safety and cleanliness
