Reports To : Executive Director, Behavioral Health & Addiction Services

Position Summary :

The Marketing & Business Development Specialist for Inpatient Detox Services is responsible for driving referral growth, increasing patient volumes, and strengthening relationships with key partners to expand the hospital's ASAM Level 4.0 inpatient medical detox program. This role will develop and execute targeted outreach strategies to referral sources, including emergency departments, community providers, residential treatment programs, outpatient practices, and social service agencies, with the goal of positioning Heights University Hospital as the preferred detox facility in the region.

Key Responsibilities :

Business Development & Referral Growth :

• Identify, cultivate, and maintain strong relationships with referral sources (e.g., outpatient SUD providers, emergency departments, residential rehab programs, community health clinics, FQHCs, shelters, first responders).
• Act as the primary liaison for external partners, ensuring smooth referral pathways and timely communication.
• Proactively generate new business opportunities, including outreach to underdeveloped or out-of-state markets.
• Monitor referral trends and provide regular reports on referral source activity and growth opportunities.
