Job Summary
Ardent Services supervise the installation, alterations, additions and / or repairs of electrical systems, conductors and associated materials and equipment within a certain scope of the project. Capable of supervising up to 10 craft persons with guidance from General Foreman.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Work from drawings and diagrams. Layout the work for the employees in crew. Complete regular safety walk through and weekly inspections with General Foreman. Attend onsite safety meetings required by the client if meetings are "all hands". Monitor the crew's progress, direct the crew and inform General Foreman of job status. Knowledge of company's and clients safety programs and substance abuse programs. Knowledge of the National Electrical Code and OSHA Electrical Safe Work Practices. Knowledge of use, limitations and maintenance of all Personal Protective Equipment required for the assigned work. Knowledge of hazards and safe work procedures associated with working from elevated work areas and personnel lift equipment. Knowledge of hazards and safe work procedures associated with the assigned work including but not limited to Lockout / Tagout, Confined Spaces, Emergency Action Plans, Safe Work Permits, Incident Reporting, and Hazcom procedures.
