Job descriptionProvide outpatient plastic surgery evaluations, consultations, and follow-up care. Perform surgical procedures during assigned OR days (2–4 days weekly). Participate in soft tissue call coverage and EMTALA responsibilities. Manage inpatient consults and ensure timely communication with hospital teams. Collaborate with clinic staff, OR teams, and other specialists to deliver coordinated patient care. Maintain accurate medical documentation within the clinic and hospital systems. Provide high-quality, patient-centered surgical care in both clinic and procedural settings. Board Certified in Plastic Surgery Active Iowa Medical License or IMLC eligibility Must be experience

We are seeking an experiencedLocums Plastic Surgery Physician to provide comprehensive clinic, OR, and callcoverage in Des Moines, Iowa. This role offers a stable weekday schedule with adefined call rotation and flexibility in block scheduling, making it anexcellent opportunity for an experienced plastic surgeon seeking a balancedlocum assignment.
Position Overview
- Schedule : Monday–Friday, 36 patient contact hours per week
- Clinic Hours : 7 : 30 AM – 4 : 30 PM
- OR / Procedure Days : 2–4 days per week
- Call Rotation : Soft tissue call + clinic call / EMTALA
- Weekend Call : As needed
- Shift Options :
- 7 days on / 7 days off or
- 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off
