Associate Veterinarian Description
Our client in the veterinary care industry is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team in Lancaster this role you will provide high-quality compassionate medical care while partnering closely with experienced technicians to ensure an efficient and positive client experience. The ideal candidate communicates clearly exercises sound clinical judgment and builds trust with pet owners. Associate Veterinarian Responsibilities
Examine diagnose and treat canine and feline patients
Advise pet owners on general care nutrition and preventive health
Manage sensitive or difficult client conversations with compassion
Operate diagnostic equipment and accurately interpret the results
Restore pet health by treating animals surgically or medically
Educate owners about the benefits of spaying and neutering
Ensure adherence to veterinary standards ethics and clinic policies
Prevent rabies brucellosis and other disorders by testing and providing inoculations
Complete all required medical records and documentation
Collaborate with technicians to optimize workflow
Report communicable diseases to public health authorities as required
Associate Veterinarian Qualifications
DVM / VMD from an accredited program is required
Active veterinary license in good standing is required
3 years of experience as a practicing veterinarian is required
Willingness to work one Saturday per month is required
