Qualifications
The University of North Carolina (UNC) School of Medicine is seeking a clinical faculty member to join our neonatology practice at the large regional campus and Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in Wilmington, NC.
This multi-specialty academic practice and children’s hospital is part of an innovative partnership between UNC and Novant Health to provide specialty care to children from communities throughout southeastern and coastal NC.
The NICU at Betty Cameron includes a 45 bed Level III NICU with single-family rooms and cutting-edge care models. There are approximately 4200 deliveries per year and 700 NICU admissions with regional referrals from other delivery centers in our region.
Education
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements : Doctorate : MD or DO, Pediatrics residency in an accredited program, Fellowship in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
License / Certifications : Board-certified / eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, And Experience : This full-time faculty position will be committed to patient care and contribute to our academic missions of research and medical education. A demonstrated commitment to quality improvement is expected for all faculty within the Division.
