Junior Tax Associate
PrideStaff Financial is recruiting for a Junior Tax Associate. The Junior Tax Associate is a full-time, direct hire position with a TOP 25 Accounting firm in Roseville, CA.
The Junior Tax Associate will perform a variety of tasks preparing and reviewing tax returns, client engagement, reviewing and preparing financial statements. The ideal Junior Tax Associate will have an active CPA license or actively working towards licensure with 3+ years of Public Accounting experience. You will receive an opportunity for advancement with potential to become a Partner.

Junior Tax Associate Duties & Responsibilities :
Prepare Complex Tax Returns & Tax Research For Individual & BusinessProvide Primary & Secondary Review of Complex Tax ReturnsPrepare Quarterly Sales Tax, 1099's & 571-L For ClientsReview Tax Information Supplied by Clients; May Meet With or Call Clients With QuestionsPrepares General Ledger Entries & Appropriate Reconciliations For Month-End, Quarterly & Year-End Closing For ClientsPerform Financial Statement AnalysisPrepares Compilations For Different Types of Business EntitiesWork Closely With Partners & Staff on Client Management, Practice Development, & Business Development ActivitiesPerform Other Essential Duties as NeededJunior Tax Associate Requirements & Qualifications :
High School Diploma or Equivalent RequiredBachelors in Accounting or Related Field & Holds or is Pursuing a CPA License3+ Years of Public Accounting Experience PreferredPrevious Experience Managing Multiple Client EngagementsMust Have Knowledge of Accounting Software Such as Lacerte, QuickBooks, MS Office, & Adobe AcrobatMust be a Self-Starter & Highly Organized to Meet DeadlinesMust be Able to Work Overtime From February 1st to April 15thDemonstrates Excellent Written & Verbal Communication SkillsExcellent Analytical, Organizational & Problem-Solving SkillsContinuously Strives For Quality & AccuracyPrideStaff Financial Hiring Requirements :
