Looking for a full-time caregiver for a youth family member with Cognitive Disabilities, Mobility Challenges, Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy in Burke, VA. Job includes daily care activities.

FULL TIME HOURS : Required minimum of 8 hours per weekend. Other hours flexible, up to 40 hours per week available . Available Shifts : All weekends and week days.

Child is a quiet, cheerful 16-year-old boy who has severe intellectual disabilities, cerebral palsy, and epilepsy. He loves to play with his toys (his multi-colored slinky is his favorite), have stories read to him, watch Disney movies, and go for walks. He is not mobile, so he plays in his wheelchair or stander. He is also non-verbal, but you know his mood easily by his facial expressions and squeals. He needs help with eating / bathing / dressing / diapering, etc. Family is looking for a caregiver who can split a 7 day (Monday-Sunday) schedule with a second caregiver. The exact schedule is negotiable and will potentially change based on needs. Driver’s license required.

Eligible for 5 days / yr paid sick leave. Eligible for overtime 1.5x pay over 40 hours.
