Overview

Precision Mechanical Assembly Technician — Die-Cast Components & Helicoils

Location : North Billerica, MA (Cambridge Division). 2 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants. This range is provided by Pace Industries, LLC. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Base pay range

$17.00 / hr - $25.00 / hr

What You'll Do

  • Interpret and follow written and verbal work instructions with accuracy.
  • Read assembly drawings and procedures; complete all required manufacturing documentation.
  • Perform fine assembly tasks using a microscope when needed.
  • Use hand and power tools; operate light-duty shop equipment (drill press, saws, grinders).
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and understand product flow.
  • Partner with engineers to create and improve assembly methods for new and existing products, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
  • Conduct simple functional checks using basic test equipment and tools.
  • Support the team with additional tasks as required.

What You Bring

  • Must have hands-on experience with helicoils.
  • Keen decision-making, problem-solving ability, and strong attention to detail.
  • Team-first mindset with professional, courteous communication.
  • Mechanical aptitude and the capability to train fellow assemblers.
  • Comfort working from limited documentation and contributing to the development of new procedures.
  • Experience with basic test instruments for simple functional tests is strongly preferred.

    • Schedule

    First shift : 6 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM, Monday–Thursday. Overtime available on Fridays.
