Emergency Response and Specialty Access Senior – SENIOR BRIDGE ENGINEER

Job Description and Duties
Under the direction of the Chief of the Office of Specialty Investigations at Structure Maintenance and Investigations (SM&I), the incumbent is responsible for :
The incumbent must be certified as both a Team Leader and an NSTM Team Leader in NBIS and must obtain NTIS Team Leader certification within 12 months. FAA Part 107 Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems Remote Pilot Certificate must be held or obtained within six months. The incumbent must also obtain trainer certification for confined spaces and fall protection within six months and be registered as a Civil Engineer in California.
Minimum Qualifications
Possession of a valid Civil Engineer professional registration in California is required. Additional qualifications are specified in the class specification and duty statement.

Working Conditions
Position located at 1801 30th Street, Sacramento. Telework may be available at the department's discretion. Occasional travel to worksites may be required. New to State candidates will be hired at the minimum salary or alternate range when applicable.
