Job description

Ferretti Search is excited to be retained by a precision metal manufacturing company to find their next Product / Sales Engineer . This is a key role in supporting the Sales department with both technical and non-technical activities, offering a blend of engineering expertise and sales acumen . You’ll be working closely with customers and internal teams , helping to evaluate quotes, present technical information, and drive new business.

Product / Sales Engineer

Salary : $100,000 - $115,000

Bonus / Commission : Total annual 12%, paid quarterly - 1% higher bonus paid per 1% of overachieving on budget.

Benefits : Extensive benefits including H / V / D (day one), and a 4% dollar-for-dollar match 401(k). UNLIMITED PTO

Travel : Up to 30%

Location : Fairfield, NJ

What will your day look like?

  • Customer Engagement : Work with customers to evaluate RFQs, determine manufacturing feasibility, and provide technical information.
  • Sales & Support : Perform outbound prospecting, follow up on quotations, and assist in closing sales.
  • Technical Expertise : Assist with costing custom parts, and help the team understand technical requirements and customer demands.

    • Who are you?

  • Background in Engineering : Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience in a machine shop or CNC environment.
  • Manufacturing Knowledge : Familiar with manufacturing processes , able to read and interpret engineering drawings, and working knowledge of CNC Screw Turning machinery is a plus.
  • Sales-Oriented : Outgoing, detail-oriented, and driven by both technical challenges and customer interactions .
