Lead Maintenance Technician-JLL

What this job involves :

As a Lead Maintenance Technician at JLL youll be responsible for maintaining troubleshooting and managing critical maintenance operations. This role involves leading preventative maintenance programs coordinating with third-party vendors and ensuring safe efficient facility operations through hands-on technical expertise and work order management.

What your day-to-day will look like :

Manage and schedule maintenance tasks to ensure safe and efficient facility operations.

Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance on building systems and equipment.

Create and close work orders with accurate documentation of labor materials and parts.

Coordinate and oversee third-party vendors for timely and compliant service delivery.

Troubleshoot and perform hands-on repairs on electrical plumbing and mechanical systems.

Developing emergency repair plans for critical assess.

Following all safety procedures to promote a safe working environment.

Required qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent.

2 years of general maintenance experience (electrical plumbing mechanical or similar).

Proficiency with computers and MS programs such as Excel PowerPoint Outlook.

Strong communication and organizational skills

Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends nights and holidays.

Physical requirements :

Ability to lift up to 49 pounds and perform physical demands including repetitive bending crouching kneeling reaching twisting sitting standing and walking for shifts up to 12 hours

Capability to work in various conditions including small spaces dust temperature variations noise vibration and wet or uneven surfaces

Preferred qualifications :

Vendor management experience.

Experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safety standards in accordance with OEM and safety regulations.

Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
