Position : Full-time CT Technologist
Schedule : Monday-Friday 8am - 5pm

The CT Technologist performs a variety of standard, and specialty Computed Tomography (CT) procedures to produce imaging studies using radiology technology to assist physicians with formulating a medical diagnosis while complying with safety and regulatory requirements. Specifically, conducts radiology exams and documents clinically appropriate results for interpretive physicians and records.
Duties / Responsibilities :
Demonstrates the company's values in daily activitiesPerforms complex tasks associated with the operation of CT scanners and related equipment to produce cross-section images of patients' internal organs and tissues for the diagnosis of medical issuesPositions patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment to comply with government regulations and to ensure the safety of patients and staffScreens patients for CT safety prior to procedure performanceStarts I.V.'s, administers contrast media as directed and per protocolEvaluates CT scans for technical quality, collate processed images and sequence of exposure and labels appropriatelyLoads and operates power injectors for contrast media administrationApplies the profession's code of ethics in all aspects of practiceMaintains knowledge of, observes, and enforces the safety measures in the Environment of CareMaintains accurate patient records.Assists in other modalities as requested and as allowed by licensure / certificationRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
