Position Summary
The Area Service Manager oversees field operations within a designated territory or area, managing service technicians and independent contractors to ensure high-quality service delivery. This role involves operational oversight, contractor development, and cross-functional support, requiring strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following :Management of field personnel and contract partners, to include but not limited to service technicians and independent contractorsSupport and troubleshooting with field personnel inquiriesContinuous education into 12V technology and advancementsFulfill daily operational duties of assigned areaOperate a clean, organized and hazard free work environmentConducts quality assurance inspections of all facilities, at least once quarterlyMaintain a positive and caring atmosphere for customers and employeesAbility to think independently and work through service challenges consistentlySells and trains new contractor facilities, maintaining and growing the service networkSupport of internal departments and personnel, assisting at any opportunity presentedTimely submission of required reports and expensesDirects, coordinates and participates in corporate initiatives to improve efficiencyCorrespondence with management when challenges are presentedMaintain the integrity, confidentiality and security of pertinent information and recordsAdherence to all state and federal rule, regulation and statuteAvailability to take after-hours and weekend callsAny other duty, as assignedQualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.3 years' experience as a Service TechnicianStrong written and verbal communication skillsPossess excellent telephone skillsDetail orientatedPhysical Demands & Work Environment
