Marietta Memorial Hospital

Marietta is a historic, charming riverboat town nestled in the

rolling hills of the Mid-Ohio Valley. Sitting between the Ohio and

Muskingum Rivers, it was the first-ever city established in the

state. Its revitalized Main Street community is known for eclectic

dining options, unique shops, vibrant nightlife, historic hotels

and an Americana feel. The downtown area features brick streets,

cascading flower-adorned lampposts and a Victorian skyline.

Marietta offers outdoor adventures as well, including ancient

mounds to explore, biking on the River Trail, rock climbing at

Baker Run, hiking in Wayne National Forest and a variety of parks,

Marietta Memorial Hospital is

part of Memorial Health, a not-for-profit integrated health system

lead by a volunteer board of community members. The hospital is

committed to providing comprehensive care services to the Mid-Ohio

Valley, with an additional focus on medical education and community

service. Marietta Memorial's labor and delivery unit offers

a high-tech alarm system, breastfeeding support, one-to-one nursing

care during active labor, personalized anesthesia services and

pre-pregnancy education. It currently sees about 732 deliveries per
