Emergency Medicine Physician Job Details

  • Location : Willoughby, OH 44094 (Cleveland metro area)
  • Position : Locum Tenens Emergency Medicine Physician
  • Employment Type : PRN / Contract
  • Shifts Per Week : 2
  • Shift Duration : 12-hour day shifts (8am – 8pm)
  • Estimated Weekly Pay : $3,600-$3,840
  • Start Date : October 27, 2025
  • Assignment End Date : January 24, 2026
  • Clinical Setting : Urgent Care / Emergency Medicine
  • Patient Volume : 30–35 patients per day
  • EMR System : Epic

Emergency Medicine Physician Qualifications

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Urgent Care
  • Active Ohio medical license required
  • Current DEA registration
  • BLS certification (can be provided if needed)
  • 1–2 years of clinical experience in Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, or Family Medicine
  • Proficient in procedures such as suturing and abscess drainage
  • Ability to interpret diagnostic studies including x-rays and EKGs
  • Meets eligibility requirements for hospital credentialing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients, families, and healthcare staff

    • Emergency Medicine Physician Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality medical care to adult and pediatric patients in an urgent care / emergency setting
  • Maintain patient satisfaction by adhering to service and courtesy standards
  • Deliver patient care in compliance with clinical bylaws, hospital rules, and healthcare policies
  • Serve as a clinical resource for patients, families, and staff
  • Ensure accurate and complete medical records and documentation
  • Participate in meetings and activities supporting urgent care operations
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and maintain required certifications
  • Report to the Area Clinical Operations Director
