Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter for a commercial construction company. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years' experience in framing metal studs, acoustical ceiling installation, and hanging or finishing drywall. A valid driver's license and your own vehicle are required.

Responsibilities

• Construct, install, and repair projects using metal stud framer / hanger / finisher hand tools and power tools.
• Follow blueprints and specifications to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Efficiently frame walls, hang and / or finish drywall, and install ceilings.
• Prepare or assist with layout using tools such as lasers, squares, and chalk lines.

Work Environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tonawanda, New York.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $33.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
