Accounts Payable & Receivable (AP/AR)

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Modesto Toyota is seeking an Accounts Payable & Receivable Clerk, with experience in the automotive industry. We are seeking a reliable individual to perform both administrative and accounting duties.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years’ automotive accounting experience.
• Strong attention to detail and interest in accuracy.
• Proficiency in computer software, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Ability to consistently meet all deadlines.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Daily filing duties.
• Process the store’s daily deposit.
• Post and process payable and receivable invoices.
• Audit vendor files for W-9.
• Schedule reconciliations.
• Process warranty cancelations
• Reconciliation of all vendor accounts, statements, etc.
• Review and maintenance of schedules.
• Process 8300 filings.
• Complete month end process in timely manner.
• Performing other duties, when required and as assigned.

RATE OF PAY: $21.00 - $26.00 / DOE

WORK LOCATION:

This position is headquartered in Modesto, CA.

Job Type: Full-time, Non-Exempt / Monday - Friday
