Job Description
Atlanta is our largest branch outside of New York City. Given the size and scale of our operations, the Auto Detailer and Lot Attendant plays a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness, general upkeep and availability of the vehicles in our fleet. You will spend much of your day cleaning and detailing the interior and exterior of our vehicles. You will also make sure our lot is clean and organized, moving vehicles as necessary to maintain accessibility. You play a key support role in day-to-day fleet operations, assisting with logistics, transportation, and light maintenance tasks as needed - working collaboratively with Fleet and branch staff so that all vehicles are properly maintained, fueled, clean, and ready for rental. Your attention to detail ensures that we provide a great first impression to our driver customers so they are proud to get on the road in a spotless, well-maintained vehicle. You will report to the Lead Fleet Associate in the branch.
Essential Job Functions
- Ensure all vehicles are parked properly and secured when not in use; clean and organize the lot as needed.
- Clean and detail both the interior and exterior of vehicles to company standards; remove trash, vacuum interiors, wash exteriors, and clean windows.
- Assist with light maintenance tasks when requested (e.g., changing wipers, topping fluids).
- Conduct basic visual inspections for damages, tire pressure, and fluid levels.
- Report any vehicle damage or mechanical issues immediately to the Lead Fleet Associate.
- Assist Lead Fleet Associate to coordinate vehicle pickup and drop-off for maintenance or repairs by third-party vendors; safely drive vehicles between company locations, vendors, and service facilities.
- Log vehicle movements, mileage, and fuel usage in company systems in a timely manner.
- Assist the fleet team during vehicle intake, delivery, and staging.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Must be at least 21 years of age.Valid drivers license and clean driving record required.Ability to operate a variety of vehicles (sedans, SUVs, vans, etc.).Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.Reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and conduct.Able to work collaboratively with other team members and easily shift gears if priorities change.Previous experience in automotive, fleet, or detailing preferred but not required.Benefits
