Department / Unit Summary

The Trauma Intermediate Step-Down Unit is a comprehensive medical unit that offers a variety of specialized surgical treatments and general medical care. It includes trauma surgeries, vascular surgeries, bariatric surgeries, and providing critical care for acute injuries. Additionally, the department maintains a general medicine practice, catering to a broad range of medical needs. The unit is equipped with 20 beds, allowing for attentive patient care. The medical staff is highly qualified, practicing to the full extent of their license, ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of medical treatment available. Qualifications and requirements

Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess an associates or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include :

Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.

CPR Certification

One year of acute care experience or other comparable nursing experience

ACLS certification preferred
