What You'll Do :

Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate protocols and communication skills.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or potential hazards.

Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and support a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

Report and document security-related incidents, observations, and / or hazards in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Assist with access control procedures, visitor management, and / or escorting individuals as needed throughout the healthcare location.

Support emergency response efforts and participate in drills, following established protocols for healthcare environments.

Minimum Requirements :

CPR and / or First Aid certification is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

A guard card or license is preferred.

Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.

CPR certification is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
