ABOUT THE POSITION

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety processes and predictive and productive maintenance systems to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives.

Key Deliverables

• Respond quickly in the event of an emergency repair.
• Fix potential safety hazards to avoid injuries.
• Repair broken or leaking plumbing.
• Perform maintenance of electrical systems.
• Maintain the building HVAC equipment in order to keep climate control in the facility functioning properly.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Manufacturing Environment

The shop manufacturing environment includes exposure to moving mechanical parts, machinery, tools and equipment, vibration, fumes or airborne particles, motorized vehicles, welding and machining operations, outside weather conditions, and exposure to the risk of electric shock. The employee may occasionally be exposed to varying levels of dirt, dust, toxic or caustic chemicals, and very warm and chilly temperatures. The noise level in the shop can be very loud at times, consistent with an industrial assembly facility and may require hearing protection.
