Orientation and Mobility Specialist - Dallas, TX
Contract : 36 Weeks | Compensation : Up to $63 / hr (Based on Experience)

Job Description :
- Provide one-on-one and group orientation and mobility instruction to students with visual impairments
- Assess students' abilities and develop individualized instructional plans
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure student progress and safety
- Utilize appropriate tools and adaptive technologies to enhance student learning and navigation
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instructional plans as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and district regulations
Education and Certification Requirements :
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Orientation and Mobility or related fieldCertification by the Academy for Certification of Vision Rehabilitation & Education Professionals (ACVREP)Texas state licensure or eligibility to obtain appropriate licensureExperience working in school-based settings preferredStrong communication and organizational skillsWhy Join Connected Health Care?
