Are you an experienced machinist looking to take your career to the next level? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are currently seeking a reliable machinist die maker to work on our 2nd shift. This is a permanent position in the fast-paced, ever-evolving engineering industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating quality parts using a variety of machine tools and equipment. This role is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you can apply your skills and knowledge to real-world engineering challenges.

Responsibilities :

As a 2nd shift Machinist, you will be responsible for :

1. Operating and maintaining various machine tools, including milling machines and lathes.

2. Reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering plans to produce parts that meet exact specifications.

3. Selecting and setting up the appropriate tools and equipment for each job.

4. Performing regular inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.

5. Troubleshooting any issues that arise during the machining process and making necessary adjustments.

6. Keeping a detailed record of work performed and materials used.

7. Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe and clean work environment.

8. Collaborating with other team members and departments to optimize workflow and improve overall efficiency.

Qualifications :

To be considered for the 2nd shift Machinist position, applicants must have :

1. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a die maker / machinist in the manufacturing industry.

2. Proficiency in operating various machine tools, including milling machines and lathes.

3. Strong understanding and ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering plans.

4. Extensive knowledge of tooling processes and procedures.

5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.

6. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

8. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

9. High school diploma or equivalent. A degree or certification in a relevant field is a plus.

10. Physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
