Summary of the Position : Hourly, Part-Time positions working with individuals with developmental disabilities and / or challenging behaviors are available.
- Advocates must be dependable, committed, and able to serve as a positive role model for youth in the community, school, and home settings.
- The Primary responsibilities of the Advocate are to initiate, organize, plan, develop and implement direct advocacy services to assigned participants and their families.
- All service plans will be based on a strength-based approach using the wrap around model.
This position offers flexible hours, competitive weekly pay, and activity reimbursement.
Hourly Rate : $15.00 per hour /
Availability : Flexible, Non-Traditional Hours; may require some evenings and weekends.
Qualifications / Requirements :
High School Diploma or equivalent is requiredAssociates or Bachelor’s degree is preferred.Must be at least 18 years of ageMust be extremely organizedPossess excellent communication and interpersonal skillsMust be professional, flexible, and have the ability to work independentlyMust be available evenings and weekendsExperience in community work and knowledge of community resources.Proficient in basic computer skills and Microsoft Office; experience using an electronic health record (EHR) is a plus.Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skillsBi-Lingual (Spanish Speaking) is a plus but not required.Position requires reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current automobile insurance coverageBenefits Available :
