About the role
Seeking a Mid-Level Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) with an active Top Secret clearance and SCI eligibility to design, develop, and implement cybersecurity solutions within information systems and network environments. The ideal candidate is a U.S. citizen with strong technical expertise in security architecture, vulnerability mitigation, and security tool operation, excited to contribute to national security through advanced cybersecurity engineering.
Job Responsibilities
- Identify information protection needs for information systems and network environments.
- Define security requirements in accordance with applicable cybersecurity standards.
- Design security architectures and develop cybersecurity-enabled products for IS and network environments.
- Integrate and implement security with Cross Domain Solutions (CDS).
- Develop and implement security designs for new or existing network systems.
- Ensure hardware, operating systems, and software applications meet cybersecurity requirements.
- Design and implement network security measures providing confidentiality, integrity, availability, authentication, and non-repudiation.
- Develop cybersecurity countermeasures and interface specifications.
- Mitigate vulnerabilities and recommend changes to network or system components.
- Support the incorporation of client-directed cybersecurity vulnerability solutions.

Active U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility and CI-Polygraph eligibility.U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.Minimum 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent education / experience combination.Proficiency with security tools such as Tenable Nessus, IBM Guardium, HP WebInspect, and Network Mapper (NMAP).Possession of at least one relevant certification : CISSP (or Associate), CASP CE, CSSLP, CISSP-ISSEP, or CISSP-ISSAP.Strong knowledge of cybersecurity requirements and security architecture design.Ability to design and implement network security measures, ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability.Excellent problem-solving skills to mitigate vulnerabilities and recommend system improvements.Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a security-focused environmentCommitment to continuous learning and certification advancement.
