Job Opportunity At Cardinal Staffing

Cardinal Staffing has immediate 3rd shift opportunities with a growing steel exporting warehouse in Lansing, MI. We are seeking a reliable and experienced Flatbed Loader to join our 3rd shift operations team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with loading and securing flatbed trailers, a strong attention to detail, and a commitment to workplace safety and efficiency.

3rd shift hours are Monday-Friday, 11p-7a, with some overtime available based on production. Pay rates are based on experience, but starting around $20 / hr.

Responsibilities

Safely load and secure freight on flatbed trailers according to company and DOT regulations. Operate forklifts, cranes, and other loading equipment as required. Inspect loads for accuracy and damage before transport. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Communicate effectively with team members and shift supervisors. Follow all company policies and OSHA safety guidelines.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience loading and securing flatbed trailers. Proficient with load straps, chains, and binders. Ability to read and interpret load sheets or manifests. Forklift certification preferred (or willing to obtain). Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in varying weather conditions. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic required.
