Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our dynamic team. The role involves operating machinery such as band saws and forklifts, specifically in the aerospace sector. This position promises job stability and opportunities for career advancement.

Responsibilities

• Operate band saws to cut steel materials accurately.
• Utilize sit-down forklifts for material handling.
• Read and interpret tape measures for precise measurements.
• Perform visual quality control checks on materials.
• Apply metal to customer orders and process materials according to work order specifications.
• Maintain equipment in a safe and clean condition.
• Ensure the processing area is clean, safe, and orderly.
• Accurately complete all required information entries.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Work Environment

Work in a large raw material supplier facility where materials are stored, cut, and shipped to customers. Join a fast-paced environment with over 60 employees on the floor. Shift options include 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts with competitive pay rates and shift differentials. The facility is located in Auburn, WA, with specific buildings for operations.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.25 - $24.25 / hr.
