Title : CT / X-Ray Technologist
Location : Fremont, OH
Duration : 13 weeks
Shift : Day Shift, 5x8-Hour (07 : 30 – 16 : 00) — Variable shifts may include 06 : 30–15 : 00, 07 : 00–15 : 30, or 08 : 00–16 : 30; every third weekend (09 : 00–21 : 00)
Job Responsibilities :
Perform both CT and general radiography (X-ray) exams in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures across various body systems, including head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, spine, and musculoskeletal regions.Conduct specialized procedures such as biopsies, drainages, aspirations, myelography, vascular CTA, and CT arthrography.Administer and / or prepare contrast media; start and maintain peripheral IV lines as needed.Utilize GE CT scanners and PACS systems for imaging acquisition, processing, and storage.Perform multiplanar reconstruction (MPR) and image post-processing as required for diagnostic review.Provide imaging services for multiple care settings — including adult acute care, outpatient, and emergency departments.Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety, infection control, and patient confidentiality standards.Participate in on-call rotations and provide coverage on assigned weekends.Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and physicians to ensure timely and accurate imaging results.Required Skills & Experience :
Minimum 1 year of experience in CT and general radiography in an acute care or community hospital setting.Proficiency in performing CT and X-ray imaging on neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.Experience with GE equipment and PACS required; Epic charting preferred.Ability to independently perform advanced imaging procedures, including biopsies and vascular CTA.Strong knowledge of anatomy, radiation physics, and contrast media safety.Excellent communication, critical thinking, and patient care skills.Certifications :
