SWC CIPT System Engineer - COTs / NDI Lead

Basic Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 2+ years of job-related experience or a Master's degree. Agile experience preferred.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS : Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required within a reasonable period of time but preferred at at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

As a SWC CIPT System Engineer - COTs / NDI Lead (Sr Systems Eng) for SWC Fire Control, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for development of Strategic Weapons Systems Capabilities under the nuclear triad. We strive to deliver reliable, high-performance solutions that meet the rigorous demands of modern warfare and ensure the safety and success of our missions.

Working in this capacity you will :

• Lead the integration of Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and Non-Developmental Items (NDI) in our fire control systems with a continuous development mindset.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate and iterate on COTS / NDI solutions.
• Oversee testing and validation to ensure systems meet evolving program requirements.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Enhance engineering processes and standards with a focus on agility, innovation, and robust software processes.

Target salary range : USD $100,000.00 / Yr. - USD $105,000.00 / Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.
