Art Teacher (elementary and preschool)

We are also seeking a part-time Art teacher who can create a structured skill-building and inspiring studio experienceone that strengthens foundational technique while encouraging creativity observation and personal voice.

In this role you would :

• Design and lead weekly art lessons that build both technical foundations and creative confidence
• Introduce students to a range of media and processes
• Introduce artists who use the medium parents are using
• Create a clear progression of skills across the term with differentiation so all students can access the work at an appropriate level
• Incorporate opportunities for reflection and discussion helping students learn how to describe their process revise work and give respectful feedback
• Collaborate with classroom teachers when helpful so art can meaningfully connect to grade-level themes and inquiry units
