Network Security Engineer IV

Job Summary : As a Rackspace Network Security Engineer, you'll be a key element within our support infrastructure team and expected to provide a high level of technical support to our customers. You'll own complex customer issues and keep our customers updated through every step of the process. You'll be supporting many elements of the RackspaceCloud product portfolio. You'll create and maintain customer loyalty by providing a fanatical experience above and beyond customer expectations. Work Location :

• If located near a Rackspace office, you'll work a hybrid schedule... 2 days in the office and three days remote.

• Be the technical point of escalation to the Cloud Support and Engineering teams; resolving customer issues.
• Monitor and provide maintenance for all related infrastructure.
• Ensure the control, integrity, and accessibility of the cloud environment.
• Implements large, complex enterprise-class solutions.
• Lead tasks relating to system architecture enhancements, problem management, fleet.
• Lead Workload / Workforce Management and Optimization related tasks.
• Provide technical expertise underpinning communications targeting a range of stakeholders - from individual contributors to leaders across the business.
• Collaborate with Account Managers and Business Development Consultants to build strong customer relationships.
• Share knowledge with other Engineers and Administrators on the support floor.

Qualifications :

Background Investigation

The anticipated starting pay range is : $128,300 - $188,210. Unless already included in the posted pay range and based on eligibility, the role may include variable compensation in the form of bonus, commissions, or other discretionary payments. These discretionary payments are based on company and / or individual performance and may change at any time.
