Position Highlights

Provide comprehensive cardiac care, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of cardiovascular diseases in both inpatient and outpatient settings

Interpret and perform cardiac diagnostic procedures such as EKGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized treatment plans for patients

Participate in hospital consultations and manage ongoing inpatient cardiac care as needed

Promote patient education, disease prevention, and lifestyle management strategies

Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant patient documentation

Participate in on-call rotations as part of a supportive team-based schedule

Candidate Requirements

Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school

Completion of an accredited Cardiology fellowship program

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology

Active or eligible Connecticut medical license

Valid DEA registration and Controlled Substance Certificate
