Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiothoracic ICU night shift position requiring a MO or compact RN license and recent ICU experience.

Responsibilities

  • Position is in the Cardiothoracic ICU in a hospital setting
  • Night shift schedule, working Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights (3x12 hours, 19 : 00-07 : 30)
  • Mandatory floating within the med-surg cluster, including floating to PCU or medical-surgical units as needed
  • Travelers are required to work at least 50% of holidays encountered during the contract
  • Floating as a Patient Observer (sitter) may be required
  • No re-orientation needed for returning travelers within 18 months; a 9-month gap required to return as a traveler
  • Compliance with holiday and weekend shift coverage is required
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply

    • Requirements

  • Active MO or compact RN license required at time of consideration
  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year recent experience in Cardiothoracic ICU
  • Cerner EMR experience preferred but not required
  • Locals within a 75-mile radius are accepted at a reduced rate
