About the Role
The Company is in search of a Virtual Chief Information Officer (vCIO) to join their team. This strategic role is pivotal in serving as the primary liaison for assigned clients, with a focus on both technical escalations and business objectives. The successful candidate will be a key player in aligning client technology with business goals, delivering executive-level insights, and ensuring client environments are secure, scalable, and optimized for performance and growth. Responsibilities also include developing IT roadmaps, managing budgets, and upholding compliance standards. The vCIO will be expected to build and maintain strong client relationships, mentor internal team members, and ensure alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. Applicants for the vCIO position at the company should have a minimum of 5 years' experience in IT consulting, account management, or technical leadership, with a preference for those with a background in the MSP space. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record in strategic IT planning, budgeting, and engaging with C-suite stakeholders. Strong business acumen and the ability to align technology with business strategy are essential. While not mandatory, industry certifications such as MCSA, VCP, or CCNA are a plus. The ideal candidate will be proficient in a range of technical tools and have excellent multitasking, prioritization, and follow-through skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. A high level of organization, attention to detail, and self-motivation with minimal supervision are also key attributes for this role.
