Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC certification to provide specialized services within a K-12 educational setting in Brevard, NC. The role focuses on supporting students in grades 6 and 8, offering individualized speech therapy tailored to pediatric needs. The contract covers the remainder of the current school year, extended summer services (ESY) in July, and continuation through the next school year, emphasizing continuity of care by maintaining the same clinician.
Qualifications :
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Experience working with pediatric populations in healthcare or school settings
- Familiarity with school-based therapy, particularly in K-12 environments
- Ability to manage caseload based on a workload model capped at a manageable size
- Strong communication skills and collaboration within interdisciplinary teams
